10 Decades IN THE Generating. Scream 4 is an upcoming ensemble-cast slasher movie and fourth installment in the Scream sequence. It was directed by Wes Craven and composed by Kevin Williamson, writer of Scream and Scream 2, and co-writer of Scream three. It stars an ensemble cast of David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella and Erik Knudsen. Campbell, Arquette and Cox are the only returning major cast members from the earlier movies. Originally, the series was intended to be a trilogy, but with ten decades Bob Weinstein thought it was time for an additional film. It is meant to be the first of a new trilogy, with each Craven and Williamson signed on for the duration.
