Doing stiff legged dead lifts. I had just gotten done with squats, didn’t use my belt for heavier sets. Was finishing up my stiff legged dead lifts, last set for 355 pounds. On my second rep I felt the same tear in my back as last time, I thankfully was able to keep it under control and limit the damage.
I finished off my leg day doing my cable crunches, side db bends, lunges and more. Still worked out the next day and the day after, my back however was fucked. I can not bend it at all, getting up is hell. Getting out of bed makes me literally scream. It is not as bad as last time but still more than enough damage.
Tomorrow is chest day, hoping to hit it hard even with the back injury.

I’m back to working out, lost lots of strength from my back injury. Back is still not 100%, feels like I did some permanent damage. It does not really hurt, but it is stiff and weak as hell. I can barely bend like I used to, it does also get sore from my workouts. Hopefully in time it will get better.
My bench suffered greatly from the back injury, unable to dig in with my back my max and rep counts went down. I am just now getting back up there, I think my form has changed slightly forcing me to depend on my tri’s even more so than normal.

Working out tonight. Went in this morning, did my squats but had to quit after about 4 sets from a cough that was hurting and making it impossible to workout. Went in tonight, back was a bit sore from the squats and the cough remained. Dummy me decided to continue my workout, next thing on my list after squats is dead lifts. I did a warm up set of 225 pounds x 10, went to my next set of 315 on rep 7 something just tore, extremely bad. I was able to put my bar back and the weights, barely made it down to the locker room. Got dressed as well as I could but could not tie my shoes.
I extremely messed my backup, I’m afraid this is not simple sprain

Is bugging me again. The only thing I can think of is that the one supplement I take ‘cissus’ helped the injury as it was feeling fine/better. I then cycled off most of my supplements including the cissus for a bit. Well the shoulder injury started to come back, I am taking cissus again and will see if it helps this time. I hope like hell it does, I am sick of being hurt!

After today’s grueling workout I am happy to say I am feeling damn near 100%! I can still feel a bit of tenderness where I injured my shoulder and pec, however it’s very slight. Today’s workout was still light compared to my normal, but a bit more intense than my workouts have been for weeks. I am feeling very optimistic that my injury will be healed 100% in a matter of weeks if I can keep up with this rehab style training that I currently am doing.

Not a chicks chest and no pics you sickos. I’m talking about my injured chest and shoulders, I’m psyched because today I was finally able to work my chest w/o an extreme amount of pain! I only did 1/2 of my normal chest routine, I kept the weights real light as well, but it was progress. Thanks to Josh at Iron Mass for telling me to do something I knew I should do, and that’s simply lifting lighter. I always feel like such a wuss lifting 1/2 or less of my normal weight, but on an injured body part you kind of have no choice if you ever wish to recover. Because of this my bench max today was a pathetic 185 for 12 reps, not even my normal warm up weight, but it was better than nothing.
I plan on slowly working back up to what I was before my injury as long as the shoulder and chest hold together this time around.
