Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California.[1] Their initial major-mark release was the triple-platinum debut album Fill (2000). The group’s excellent consequences continues with their gold album Lovehatetragedy (2002), their platinum album Obtaining Away with Murder (2004), The Paramour Sessions (2006), and Metamorphosis (2009). The band’s seventh album, Time for Annihilation, was released on August 31, 2010. Papa Roach has sold much more than 10 million album copies globally, and are known for their hits “Final Resort”, “Scars”, “Forever”, and “Lifeline”, among others.

The members of Finger Eleven grew up in Burlington, Ontario and came together in high school as a funk-styled band named Rainbow Butt Monkey. Initially comprised of Scott Anderson (vocals), Sean Anderson (Bass), Rob Gommerman (drums) and James Black and Rick Jackett on guitars, they won a rock band search contest on neighborhood radio and employed the prize funds to record their very first album, Letters From Chutney. Gommerman left the band soon soon with, making way for drummer Rich Beddoe. Now named Finger Eleven, the quintet released Tip on Mercury Records in Canada. It was re-released by the New York City based mark Wind-Up Records in September 1998. The Greyest Of Blue Skies appeared two years later. ~ Roxanne Blanford, All Music Guide

ROLL TAPE
Write and record a three-song EP as the band now has
earned sufficient funds from their shows to finance the recording.
Producer Al Sutton (Kid Rock) gets demo from Leighâ??s bro, an entertainment attorney.
Al likes what he hears. Records the band.
Result: Ready or Not EP containing the title track, along with â??Somebody Like Youâ? and â??Hard Highway.â?

Winter, 2006. Proper Place AT THE Right TIME
Significant mark radio promo rep visits WGRD in Grand Rapids to talk about markâ??s upcoming releases. DJ gives rep a tape of Pop Evil. Leigh gets a call to meet the rep, hand delivers a 5-song demo to the rep and continues to hold in make contact with. Rep sends Pop Evil demo to his father, who co-owns independent mark, Pazzo Music. In the winter of 2007, 1 year following the fateful hand off at WGRD, Pop Evil indicators with Pazzo Music.

2007. ROLL TAPE, Complete LENGTH CD.
Guitarist Tony Greve and bassist Matt DiRito, each from Muskegon, MI join Pop Evil. The sound is a divine collision of â??crispy, crunchy, mainstream rock with a tiny bit of evil,â? thanks to the musical and cross-cultural diversity (Eastern Indian, Hispanic, Turkish, American Indian and Polish roots) of the band.

Manufacture for CD starts with Al Sutton and Marlon Young (Kid Rock guitarist) at Rust Belt Studio in Royal Oak, Michigan. 12 songs recorded.

Band heads to spring break in Panama City for more gigs and gets word that Pazzo wants much more. In Florida, in-in between exhibits, band does pre-manufacture at Destin Recording with Dave Cox.

Band heads back to Michigan (Canton) with producer Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound to total the 3 final songs for the CD.

2008
