My doctor suggested I begin to take pharmaceutical-grade fish oil capsules as an alternative to anti-anxiety meds. I did alot of research and decided to purchase this product from Amazon. It arrived promptly. I was amazed to find there is absolutely no fishy “repeat”. On occasion I can detect a very mild “lemony” taste but even that is rare and not at all unpleasant.
I highly recommend this product and as a “first-timer”, I recommend Amazon as well

I’ve been taking fish oil capsules for years, but only recently learned that fish oil products vary widely in quality and dosage. After much research, I decided Source Naturals Arctic Pure EPA capsules offered everything I needed, and the quality I hoped for. I’ve also never had a fishy aftertaste with this brand. I’ve converted my family members to this product, and all are happier and report no fishy aftertaste. I have it delivered by Amazon Prime, which is 2 day UPS so it doesn’t suffer from the heat as the other reviewer experienced.

This supplement is a great choice for those looking for more EPA, rather than DHA. The pure EPA supplements can very expensive. This one is a good compromise with 500mg of EPA and just 90mg of DHA per pill (be careful when comparing products — some of them list mg per ’serving’ which could be 2 or more pills). I’ve not had any problem with fish breath with these pills.

I was searching all over the place for 500 mg fish oil to give my 40 lb. dog. It’s impossible to find 500 mg in stores so I went online. I chose this brand because the price was right. Can’t really review based on anything else other than my dog’s coat is shiny and she seems less itchy.

There’s nothing wrong with this Omega 3 source, but Amazon ships it via USPS so it can get very hot by the time it’s delivered. Twice in a row I’ve found it in my mailbox, completely heated. This method of shipping takes longer than UPS, apparently, and provides zero protection from summer heat. At least UPS would deliver it to my door so it doesn’t sit in a hot mailbox all day before I get it.
