Getting Fat

I was sick all week, did not go into the gym at all! First time I missed the gym for a full week since, I can’t remember when. I stopped taking all my supplements during this period, I also ate worse than I normally would. Mainly more protein bars than I’d normally eat, still fairly clean. I however feel so damn fat! I know it’s not much, maybe a pound or 2 gained, maybe some water weight but I just feel fat, lazy and weak!

Hope to get back into the swing of things on Monday.

Hit My Goal

My goal was to get down to at least 235 by the weekend, well it’s Friday technically one day to go. I however weighed in at 233 pounds this morning. That’s roughly a 14-15 pound drop in just over a weeks time. To be truthful though I also cut creatine out of my supplements a few days ago, any time I cycle off of creatine I lose alot of water weight. Still all and all I’m happy with the weight loss, especially considering I’ve been so busy with work projects I haven’t put nearly as much time into cardio or other workouts as I should have.

Cutting is going well

Dropped about 6-8 pounds so far, the cutting phase is going well. I have not done alot of cardio even, just eating a little cleaner, some herbals, etc has been working wonders. Most of it I’m sure was water weight, some fat, hopefully not to much muscle. Goal for next weekend is to be down to 235-230 currently at 241 roughly.

 

Killer Shoulder Workout

I had another great workout today. Part of my injury was my shoulder / rotator cuff. Today I tested my shoulder and well it took everything I threw at it including a 470 pound smith machine shoulder shrug….;)

380 was to damn easy, did 10 without a problem so I got gutsy and threw on another 2 45 pound plates. It was a bit rough as I haven’t done anything that heavy in a few months, but I got it up w/o wrecking anything. I powered through my standard shoulder presses, arnies and more. All and all a great workout.

Cardio again. Cardio is a love/hate thing for myself, I do enjoy it actually once I get my ‘groove’ into it. It’s just so damn hard to get going and stay going with it. I bulked up pretty good, added another 5+ solid pounds, alot of strength. I’m hoping to cut down a decent bit so my muscle shows a bit more ;) I started out at roughly 246-248 in a couple of days I’ve dropped down to 243. The first few pounds always come off quickly and easily, the next 10-20 will be the hard part. I don’t know how much I am going to lose yet, I may decide after losing another 5-10 pounds I’ll start bulking again :p Guess time will tell.
